OVER THE NORTH CHANNEL The highest points of crossings are the North Channel Bridges.They provide high water clearance of 75 feet to accommodate local fishing fleets.
Over the Inlet.The 458-foot long Fisherman Inlet Bridges span a dredged channel which is part of the U.S.Island Waterway.They accommodate both fishing vessel and pleasurecraft .
Not your money at work. The total cost of this mammoth project,including a second span completed in 1999, was $450 million-but not a dime of local,state,or federal tax money was used
After passing Bridge-Tunnel crossed through DELAWARE ISLAND . This distance was 191.56 miles,which was crossed in 3hours 39 minutes .Next we reached at Lewes ferry point at 11am .Here we have to pass through Delaware Bay by boat. This boat loaded 105 cars,800 passengers.After one hour we reached port CapeMay.We unloaded car and started journey.At 12.45 noon we entered in a state called New Jercy.We reached Atlantic City at 2 pm ,checked in the hotel,taken rest till 7 pm .This city is famous for casino's and gambling.
